Ultimate Games Night – Couples Edition
- Step into a groovy 70’s time capsule at The Basement for a night of laughter, nostalgia, and friendly competition.
- This Newlywed-style game show features three featured couples competing on stage to see who truly knows their partner best.
- Expect surprising answers, playful teasing, and plenty of laughs as couples try to match each other’s responses while the audience cheers them on.
- The evening embraces a fun retro game-show vibe with groovy music, a shag-carpet-inspired set, and the feature couples contestants are dressed in their best 70s looks. Audience members are also welcome to dress in their favourite retro styles and join in the fun. There is a prize for best dressed audience member.
- Between rounds, the audience will have chances to participate in quick mini-games for prizes, making the whole room part of the experience.
- Come cheer on the couples, enjoy the laughs, and relive the spirit of the 70s for one unforgettable night at The Basement Comedy Club. First 30 audience members will receive a bag of OMG! clusters from our sponsor OMG!
Meet Your Host
Heather Witherden
Your host for the evening is Winnipeg performer and comedian Heather Witherden, known for her hit Winnipeg Fringe character “Your Mom Kathy.” Heather is also the co-creator of the sold-out Fringe show “Moms, Moms, Moms.” With her quick wit and lively stage presence, she brings warmth, humour, and playful banter as couples compete to see who truly knows their partner best.
